This was real cute and wholesome. Exactly as the author described; Hallmark charm with spice. And Nick is a total green flag kinda guy.
I had downloaded this onto my kindle last year, but didn't finish it. About the first half was fine I thought this would be a quick read, but Nick really started to annoy me. He would proclaim that she was in charge, but then do things that completely contradicted that. Plenty of people will like him, but he rubbed me the wrong way. It was still a quick read though.

I really wanted to Love this and at times I did. Single mother romance just isn’t for me. I really like Morgan Elizabeth’s writing, the storyline was cute… but I just couldn’t connect with the FMC.
This was such a cute book! Is Nick possibly the most fictitious man I've ever read about because of how perfect he is for his girls? Yes. But I simply do not care how unrealistic these standards are, I want in!
Great communication between Nick and Shae and slow burn that is rewarded with a few spicy scenes and some rope! Yeehaw Cowboy.
Only complaint is the few fade-to-black scenes. Don't build me up if you can't take me home darling!
