i really enjoyed this book, the relationship between nick and the kids was so wonderful & he was written so well, my only qualm with the book was how overly stubborn shae was, but i can move past that since there were just so many adorable moments overall

It took me until book 3.5 to realize that the lessons of these books are so toxic. It’s always a woman who wants to perform her dutiful duties to a guy who treats her like trash. Then it takes another man to swoop in and teach her how to relinquish control and trust again. As if she couldn’t heal on her own. Again, toxic.
Although I felt like this book didn't fit in the revenge series as well as the others, I loved it as a stand alone and enjoyed it immensely. It was funny and hot, and everything I've come to expect from Morgan.
