Big Nick Energy

Was this a romance or a fantasy? Because Nick is basically the most perfect man ever - do those even exist in real life? That can be good or bad. Great if you're looking for a nice cup of hot cocoa of a book to cozy up with, not great if you're looking for character depth and realism.

This book doesn't pretend to be anything other than a feel good, light Christmas read, and its unpretentiousness works.

Everyone needs a man like Nick Finch

Single mom meets son. Becomes friends with him and then starts dating his dad who lives on a Christmas Tree Farm!

Spicy was super spicy and I LOVED IT!

Nick with the girls is absolutely adorable! The way he goes above and beyond for those kids is amazing! A man who treats a woman's kids like his own is so so special.

The way that man is constantly reassuring her that she is enough and she's not damaged goods should be the standard! I loved that so much!

And that ending! Had me tearing up! So sweet!

BIG NICK ENERGY. I'm not a single mom, but this book had me all in my feels. Such a cute love story. I loved that Nick stuck around, even when Shae wasn't sure. And the love he had for those girls was TOO CUTE. This book also got me to buy an Elf on the Shelf for my daughter lol. It was totally angsty, but once it happened, oh man, it happened lol. Loved it.

I can't help it, I ate this up.

Nick is literally the perfect man. I'm a single mother myself, so maybe that carries some weight but I absolutely loved this

It took me so long to finish this, but it was cute.

I was saving this book to read in December as my first Christmas read but I couldn’t hold off any longer

Absolutely loved it!! The chemistry was delightful and the banter was perfect.

This book surprised me.

I was expecting a cheesy Christmas story.

What I got was a very endearing tale about a single mom, her daughters and the man that helped them heal.

It did feel a little slow in spots, but overall it was great. The smut was a little out of place IMO.
