This was a cute Christmas story. I loved how they bonded over the Elf on the shelf. I liked how they built their relationship as friends first.  It was not as funny as expected based on the title but it was a cozy read.

This book was cute, I liked the MMC. Sometimes I found Shae annoying. It needed more editing, there were too many editing errors that should’ve been caught. Not very spicy, just a couple spicy scenes but they were good.

"Big Nick Energy" is an adorable and swoony holiday romance that delivers all the cozy, small-town Christmas vibes. Nick, a golden-retriever-energy cowboy, is head over heels for Shae from the moment he meets her. His commitment to creating Christmas magic for her daughters—driving two hours every night just to move an elf on a shelf—is both hilarious and heart-melting. Morgan Elizabeth does a fantastic job capturing the balance between humor and heart, making this story feel both lighthearted and deeply romantic.

Nick’s patience and respect for Shae’s journey post-divorce are downright swoon-worthy, proving he’s not just a charming cowboy but a genuinely good guy. Plus, catching glimpses of beloved characters from the series adds an extra layer of warmth for longtime fans. This is the perfect quick read for anyone who loves a festive romance with a down-bad hero who knows how to make a girl—and her kids—feel like the center of his world.

Once again another winner in the series
