we love a lil cowboy romance with christmas vibes! while this book was sweet & steamy it was also so unbearably cringy? I wanted to like it so much more than I did but I couldn’t get over the “sugarplums” & insta lovey silliness of it all.

this book was everything i wanted in a holiday romance because seriously it had EVERYTHING. cute moments, steamy-time (winks), motherhood, postpartum depression, struggles of being a single parent household and having to keep your shit together while you're already drowning yourself & so much Christmas fun.
our fmc, Shae [35] she's adjusting to her new life post-divorce because she left an abusive marriage (good for you homegirl) she really lost herself during this process so instead of her being a happy go lucky mama she put up a wall on herself and became stubborn when it comes to everything cause in that way she won't be hurt anymore. her friend encouraged her to swipe right on some young guys in some dating app. the date didn't go as planned but she left with a good friend, Connor [28]. months and months went by, he invites her to his father's tree farm to spend the holidays.
then boom, enter NIIICCCKKKK {Schmidt's voice—you'll only get this if you watch New Girl lmao} he is a golden retriever cowboy. this shit is planned out because Connor & Shea didn't worked out so now he is starting to think like hey she will be perfect for my Dad. and boy the minute Nick saw her all her breaks loose. he wants her. yearns for her. but she's broken and scared to enter an intimate relationship but....

4.8 Honestly the perfect Christmas romance. So cute, kept me engaged. My only criticism would be the typos, one or two I usually overlook but there are so many it got annoying.
