4.5 stars. Loved it! Made me cry a lot. That's probably a me thing though LOL. It reminded me a bit of my life.
This book surprised me.
I was expecting a cheesy Christmas story.
What I got was a very endearing tale about a single mom, her daughters and the man that helped them heal.
It did feel a little slow in spots, but overall it was great. The smut was a little out of place IMO.

I'm not crying, you're crying!
Shae gets invited to spend Thanksgiving with her younger one-date-from-tinder family and since she doesn't have anything to do, she ends up going, this is where she meets Nick, the dad to her date turned into friend, and Nick puts his foot in his mouth about the Elf on the shelf, so in order not to overwhelmed Shea, he just drives everything night to her house to set up the Elf. the thing is, is impossible not to fall in love with Shea and her girls and it happens hard and fast.
this is a feel good romance that makes you believe in love and everything good in the world. I wish they featured Nick's son at least once more in the book.

What a fun read to kick off the holiday season. This book was so fun and I had the best time reading it. It had the best Christmas vibes and the cutest romance plot with a slight age gap and single mom. I cannot wait to read more books by Morgan.
4.5⭐
Such a cute fluffy read, with some spice.

3.75 really. Whew. That ending gutted me… in a happy way? I was a little meh throughout some of it because it was a little insta lovey and sometimes when i remember that it was his son and her first (even tho nothing happened except besties) I got a little bit of the ick. Oh, but also, lawd do I love when an ex gets told off. It’s exhilarating :) this review was all over the place. Ya well.
So quick and cute and heart warming. Only experienced maybe 3 seconds of cringe the whole time, what sweet girls and man. Easy lovey, found family, cowboy meets stubborn mom, cute cute cute - plus he knows how to lay it down
I will say that I haven't read the first books in this series but that didn't bother me at all. I absolutely adored Big Nick Energy ❤️
This holiday romance was so, so good
