Striking in how it balanced that mental unfurling and spiralling whilst keeping it in the realms of reality. It was so hard to put down because her mind didn't stop. So entertaining and heartbreaking.

Though well written, I didn’t like this one as much as I had hoped to. I feel that “Sorrow and Bliss” and “My Year of Rest and Relaxation” approached similar themes in a way that I either empathized with or was more entertained by (or both)  the protagonist. Maybe that was the point of this one, and though I didn’t dislike it,  I also didn’t love it.
