Haven annoyed the crap out of me once again, Damen only cared about sex and was the typical womanizer after Roman screwed everything up, Ava was nothing but an adult who acted like an irritating child, and Ever was one of the biggest idiots in the history of young adult novels. The beginning of the novel consisted of her whining over if she should have sex with Damen. Once Roman turned everyone against her she whined over how much she missed her beloved Damen but was still in love with him even though he treated her as if she didn't exist and hated her. On top of that she treated Ava with disrespect even though Ava was the adult and Ever was the sixteen year old. The writing was really sporadic and the ending was rushed and didn't make sense with the stupid decision of Ever not explaining to Damen about how she ruined their lives.

I struggled whether to give this book 3 or 4 stars. Officially my rating is 3.5, because honestly, I'm an indecisive girl. Truthfully, I was really disappointed by the first book. It wasn't what I expected. However, the ending left me intrigued and when I start a series it's hard for me to drop it, unless I completely loathe the book. That being said, I liked Blue Moon significantly more than Evermore. That could mostly be due to the fact that I wasn't expecting a lot from this installment, or perhaps more accurately I had a better idea of what to expect from this book. There's even more talk about energy and auras in this book, which is something I really like about this series, because the book is based on a fantastical concept (immortals) but it also borrows from real life phenomena, such as psychic abilities and reincarnation. I thought that was really clever. The ending had me wanting to rush out and buy Shadowland, the third book in the series, which I will be doing very shortly. Hopefully the next installment will be even better!

This is book #2 in the series, and it's engaging, like Twilight. It's pretty much one long prelude to book #3, which I can't fault the author for. That's pretty typical of this genre. I'm not going to read book #3 though. I'm also not 16, which is probably the target reader age.

This is a good chick-lit book for urban fantasy readers. If you liked City of Bones, Twilight, or Holly Black's urban fantasy series, then you should probably check this one out. The first book is Evermore. As of this time, I don't think book 3 is out yet. I imagine that'll come out next year (2011).
adventurous medium-paced

Good, but not as great as the first, I won't lie. I don't like when a good majority of the book the main characters are out of sync. I just don't. It leaves me on edge and not in a good way.

Why is Ever so annoying?????
Why did she trust the clearly obvious evil guy, I mean, he even told her he was evil yet she still decided to trust him over the two people her sister trusted?? Absolute fool.
However, even though I still can't decide if I like the series or not I'm sure the third one will help or confused me more.

Blue Moon is the second book in the Immortal Series by Alyson Noel, it starts off where it left us with Damen and Ever happier than ever.

Damen help’s Ever learn more about her new abilities and everything’s good as they plan to seal the deal, and live happily ever after.

Except Damen’s getting sicker and sicker and on that special day everything goes wrong: Damen ditches her, abandons their plans of romance and love.

The next day Damen’s done a complete 180 and ignores Ever. What gives? –I’ll let you read it yourself to find out-. But in order to ‘save’ Damen, Ever has to travel to Summerland where she meets new people and learns new things. Thing’s that can change Ever and Damen’s lives forever. Even her family’s lives.

Ever, is strong, mature and independent and despite her undying love for Damen she makes some tough decisions.

Now, I must say Alyson Noel surprised me with a twist which left me wanting the third book, but with living in the UK meant I had to wait. I needed to know what happened next and I didn’t want to wait.

My library doesnt have the rest of the books and I'm kinda not mad about it. Like the story is interesting but hasnt kept me drawn. Ill read them if they ever should get them, because i like to finish things.

why is the MC so dumb
