Im torn on how to review this as overall i really enjoyed the experience of reading this book, however that doesn't make it without flaw.
It was a rollercoaster of emotions that took me all over the place, the premise is really interesting and the world as the main character would say is "Super Cool". and therein lies my issue throughout this whole book. The main characters says the most stupid shit that doesn't work in the context of this world (which i understand was the point). but damn was it still annoying and took me about half the book to get over.
I would still however recommend it, it's a solid read just be prepared for alot of "OMG, So Cool, Awesome, Thats Sick... etc" in a high fantasy setting.

I noped out of this book less than two chapters in. The writing is infantile and absolutely awful.
I dont. I dont understand how something with such a high fucking rating can have, hands down, some of the worst flow ive ever seen in a book.
There were sentences that went on for PARAGRAPHS.

And Jesus H Huxstable Christ that heroine was annoying.
I, at one point, stopped reading and just counted the amount of times she said ”Ho boy! in 30 pages.
The answer is so many I felt my brain shrink.
No but seriously the answer is 17. THATS OVER ONCE EVERY OTHER PAGE.
This shit was weak. What is wrong with you people?

That one really kept my attention. It had adventure, romance, drama....lotsa drama and for me, a new book boyfriend.....Love me some Frey Drakkar! Nice world building and good characters to follow up on.
