Well, I stayed up until 4am when I have to work at 11am because I didn't want to put it down, so if that's not a ringing endorsement I don't know what would be.
Rife with legal intrigue, political upheaval, and long unexpressed (thought-to-be) unrequited feelings between two people with severe trust-issues. It's not a quick read (oh my god why am I still awake?) but it's definitely a fun one.

It was going great until I realized I was at 96% of the book and the story was nowhere at the end. It has a cliffhanger.... #mustreadblurb

There are so many potential clichés in this book that I full expected to give myself a migraine from the amount of eye rolling it was likely to induce. Somehow, however, Blair Babylon has taken all of those clichés and has woven them together into a book that really works! What I loved most about the book is the chemistry between Rox and Cash. They are, first and foremost, friends. And, thankfully, the fact that they have both been hurt before and are, therefore, worried that they will be hurt again is not a motif that dragged on and on as sometimes happens in romance novels (occasionally for multiple books in a series), which annoys me to no end. Both Cash and Rox are keeping secrets from the other, but, as the story progresses, those secrets come out and they are able to get their HEA. I really want to know more about Cash's boyhood friends, and I hope that more books are in the works where Maxence and Arthur get their own HEAs and have plenty of kittens to socialize. I also want to get to know Cash's sister, Anastasia, better. Great book, recommended for 18+.

Audio Review: Working Stiff (Runaway Billionaires #1) by: Blair Babylon (author) Joe Arden (narrator)

Babylon had me at hello. Working Stiff refuses to tiptoe around the heart. Rox and Cash stand firm in their passion and drag emotions along for the ride. There is no halfway when it comes to Blair Babylon. Her characters are a force of nature that demand to be noticed. Add in a voice like Joe Arden and there is no doubt that is going to happen. Arden brings a gentlemanly, class to a bad boy with an edge. Be still my beating heart. Babylon and company will steal the heart right out of your chest and leave you wanting more.

Reread!!! I loved this as much this time as I did the first time. Soem romance novels I love for it's realism and others I love for the trip that they take me on. This book is the later.

Rox is a overly curvy southern girl who moved to California and became a paralegal at an amazing law firm, under one of the partners, Cash. That wouldn't be a problem except Cash was tall, dark, handsome and did I mention British? With the accent to go along with it and oh so delicious tattoos. Only thing is is that that man is a man whore. He would - and had - slept with every woman in the company and half of the client list. That is except Rox. He had a rule: No married women. So she wore fake rings and was able to resist his allure. But, can she keep from telling him the truth when he gets injured in a car wreck and she becomes his live-in nurse?

I got the book "Billionaire Quiz" as a freebie off of BookBub and began to read. When the book ended and began another a few chapters in I was already so hooked that I needed more. So, I didn't hesitate to head over to Amazon and purchase this book, Working Stiff. And oh man, did Casimir ever "work stiff" if you catch my meaning. This book is hot and sexy and I hated to put it down, even for sleep. In fact, I am having to force myself, with some difficulty, not to go and buy book two right now. I will be a good little book blogger and not read any more from this author until I read on some of my other books.

That being said if you like sexy sexy romances please get this book. Or just buy the entire series because one is not going to be enough.

I have no idea what to say. Everything was a mess. The writing felt very immature. The characters are awful. Rox pretended for way too long about the whole marriage thing. At first, I understood it, but as time went on, she should have come clean. I love plus size FMCs, but not when it's all that's talked about. That her identity was her being chubby. I hate that word now because of how much it was used to describe Rox. There were a bunch of other issues but I'm too exhausted to get into all of it. Book was way too long.
