It was a pretty good read.

When I started to listen to this book, I had no idea they would go to Brazil. I AM FROM BRAZIL! I was so excited!! But within an hour I've heard sooo many ridiculous facts about Brazil that I just couldn't listen to it anymore. We DO NOT have monkeys as pets! We DO NOT clap when the sun goes down! It really made me mad that so many people will read this and believe this is our culture.. It seems like no research was done? They used some rumor about things they heard about Brazil and put in a book? I'm so disappointed... There was no effort to represent our culture correctly...

4,5 stars.
This was so cute and sweet.

I'm crying 😭 More or less during the whole book and even now when I write the review I can't stop. This book is full of emotions.
I knew the book would have a huge plot twist and it broke my heart 💔 Why? Honestly why? 😭 Don't get me wrong, it fitted the book and all. But it was so sad 😢

Carter is what we all think about pilots. An absolute playboy who f*cked every flight attendant available 😎
And still, he is just perfect. There isn't anything this man can't.
He can fly a plane (obviously as a pilot 😉)
He can sing (he's a Beatles fan)
He can dance (yes, he knows how to use his hips 😁)
He is a cat dad (I prefer dog dafs, but 🙈)
He speaks Portuguese (what's super $exy 🥵)
There are more things I can't tell because it would spoil the story, but it has to do with his living situation.
The perfect PILF (Pilot I'd... 😉).

And Kendall? She isn't a v!rg!n by any kind, but she's not "addicted" to $ex like Carter is 🤣 But she is lost. Lots of people would say she has a perfect life. She comes from money and doesn't really need to work. But that's just to the outside. Little poor rich girl? Not 100% but almost 😔

Carter and Kendall are the perfect match. They fit together from the very first moment. Does it sound like a lot of cliche? Yes. It's it a lot of cliche? Yes. But it's so much more. A lot more.

The book also has my favorite side characters. Seniors 😁
And even an exotic pet by one of the side characters 😎
Oh, and an extraordinary road trip 😱

There are three more books in this "series" and yes, I'm already afraid about them. I know they will also have such heartbreaking plot twists and they hurt 😭 But I need it. Yes, I'm crazy. Aren't we all? I mean all of us romance readers. We need books that destroy us to fix us together with the perfect HEA, right?

Playboy Pilot is an absolute gem!

*audio*

I always love a collab Vi and Penelope book, especially when the audio is performed by Sebastian York and Andi Arndt!

I did enjoy the fun meet cute of Kendall and Carter and that it was an interesting and entertaining story. I thought Carter and Kendall both had good character development after spending the week together, the other woman drama at the end did stress me out. I panicked for a little bit and was afraid this book was going to take a turn that I wasn’t anticipating but it ended up being fine and an enjoyable read.

Carter and Kendall.
Carter , Carter, Carter. Yes, at first, you will think the typical playboy (I mean it’s in the title). Good looking, player, Pilot, what else could you want? He meets Kendall at the airport, and after a short but meaningful conversation, he tries to tell her, in around way, to fly to Rio. Thinking she is crazy, Kendall finds herself headed to Rio, not knowing if Carter is on the flight or not. Then she soon hears him, over the intercom..yep he’s the pilot. After several days, she soon finds out that Carter is more than those first initial assumptions. He is kind, generous, thoughtful, etc. But his past is hard to forget and ultimately scares her away.

Your heart really goes out to Carter. Just when he thinks his playboy days are over and he’s ready to move forward he is completely blindslided. Loved reading about the neighborhood and all the good he did and that really paid off. Such a good story. So fun and entertaining and I highly recommend.

Was okay. Getting tired of the rinse and repeat from some of their other books.
