So cute and I loved the mentioned of all Beatles songs!!

3 stars!

Cute story, and I loved the characters.

The fight was a little much - she kind of blew everything out of the water, but I understood where she was coming from I guess. But I mean, give the man a chance??

One thing that often bothers me about the books in this series of novels is that there's a lot of long confessions/speeches that are supposed to move me I think? But they don't. No one talks like that in my world, so it seems a little silly to me. Also, near the end, they always do this summary type thing that sounds like a narrative over a movie and I don't like it. It's suppose to wrap up the book nicely, but it loses my attention instead.

As a whole, I enjoyed it, but the writing is what loses a star for me.

DNF. The hero's a creepy pervert. The heroine is kind of a wet blanket. I fast-forwarded to the ending and am super glad I didn't waste my time on the middle.

"Half of the people in the world will tell you to follow your head, half will tell you to follow your heart. My advice, follow the one that isn’t confused. The stronger one will eventually convince the other to fall in line.”

“Sometimes the things we hold onto the tightest are the things we most need to set free.”

This is one of the cutest books I have ever read. Also I suffered so much.

Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland never disappoint you.

Title: Playboy Pilot
Author: Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward
Category: Romance
Series or Standalone: Standalone
POV: Dual
Plot: 4
Characters: 4
Scorching Level: 4
HEA: Not telling

I love these two authors! They always create fun and fascinating storylines and this book was very fun to read.
Kendall Sparks is at a crossroad in her life. She comes from money. She has a very big decision to make; a decision that can determine her entire future. Encouragement comes from a very surprising man.
Carter Clynes is a pilot. He lives his life to the fullest and his charm knows no limit. A chance encounter at the airport will finally give meaning to his reckless life.
Kendall Sparks interests him. He is drawn to her and his attraction will make him do things very out of his character.
Join these two characters as they travel the world and try to find a meaning to their unexpected bond.
I enjoyed the book. It was funny, entertaining and the banter between our main characters is very witty.
The storyline takes the reader on various twists and turns and I think fans of the authors and the genre will enjoy it.
So why the 4 stars? Even though I enjoyed the book and the amazing settings and characters, I found myself disconnected from the heroine. After the 75% mark I felt that the plot took me down a road that fell a little flat for me. The slightly overused plot twist and the way the heroine handled the situation left me a bit disappointed.
On the other hand, I thoroughly enjoyed Carter and his back story. He was my favorite character.
Other than that, I liked the book and the writing made up for that small part I didn't enjoy.
I recommend it.

4 Stars

Playboy Pilot officially ties with Stuck-Up Suit as my favorite Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland novel. These authors always come up with an interesting and witty first encounters, smile-inducing exchange of banters and sexy romance.

Kendall Sparks decided to clear her mind by travelling out of the country because she's stressed and pressured about her family's inheritance. While chilling on the airport bar and thinking of her destination (she doesn't know which country to go yet), she met Carter Clynes. He's a charming, sexy and clever guy. They easily engaged in a conversation and Carter suggested her to go to Rio De Janeiro before he leaves. Last minute, she took his suggestion and as she boarded in the plane to Rio, she found out Carter is the pilot. Carter has a playboy reputation and that makes her a little hesitant. However, their attraction for each other is palpable and somehow she's curious and believes there's a story behind his persona.

Their journey begins in Rio De Janeiro a and continued as they travel more places and enjoying each others company. Each destination they went was memorable and it's hard to pick one favorite. Their chemistry sizzled and eventually fall for each other along the way. Don't get me started on their sexy times. IT'S. FREAKING. HOT.

I love Kendall and Carter despite of their drama near the end. Carter wasn't just a playboy. He is a selfless guy with a big heart. I'm touched as he genuinely helps and brings joy to the elderly people. Most of them were abandoned and those kind gestures he gives earned my respect. I love how he overcomes his past and so glad he finally had a closure on it.As for Kendall, I love how she handled her issues maturely. Travelling helped her in decision making and she made the right choice for not fulfilling her grandfather's condition. She doesn't care about the money and choose to live according to her will.

Kendall and Carter's story is wondrous, fun and heartwarming. All the The Beatles songs, self-discovery, happenstance and signs that will lead them together. I love them all! Hands down again to Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland!

P.S.
I'm badly curious on Chance Bateman's story. Plus his pet goat. I better read Cocky Bastard soon.
