This book was so much fun, I wish that I could on read it so I could go back and read it again with fresh eyes. I hate that I will never get to read it without knowing what happens ever again. This is such a delightful read! What really can I say about this book? I am not going to say anything about the story itself because I don't want to give away one single detail. I will say that the characters are completely lovable. This story is witty, funny and thoroughly enjoyable. Might be my favorite of the year. I happened to listen to it on audio and that was fabulous too. Penelope and Vi are masterful at writing these stories and they think of every single detail. It's just a MUST read.
Me ha gustado mucho, mucho. Él es un Playboy que se encama a toda la que se deje, eso hasta que conoce a nuestra protagonista. Después de eso solo existe ella. Pensé que sería el típico libro que se conocen, se gustan y se van a la cama y no fue así. De hecho es hasta después de mitad del libro que tiene. Una relación secuela, antes de eso se convierten en amigos y ella deja muy claro que no se acostara con el hasta que ella sepa que es lo que realmente quiere hacer con su vida. Así que por esa y más razones es que me ha gustado.
They did it, delivered an amazing story that had a little of everything. Again, the blurb did not grab me and if it wasn't for my past love of each of their books, I may not have read it. However, I'm super glad I did. Carter, as most of their hero's are, was a truly great guy. And Kendall was a bit lost and immature but, with time, grew up and found what she needed. I highly recommend it, another great read.
This is one of those books that will grab you emotionally but also make you giggle and enjoy every minute of it! What I really loved about this tale is that it is a journey of self discovery and finding yourself at the most odd time. Kendall is such a lost soul but Carter brings out something in her that she needs. Their wit and banter was amazing. The moments they have traveling all around were priceless. Their passion sorching! What I really thought was epic is the unexpected side of Carter.
When things get messed up, my heart broke for both of them. But that ending.. wow.. I loved it. Absolutely amazing! The cameo at the airport was epic as well! I have to say this one is my fave right after Cocky Bastard. What Keeland and Ward do together is pure magic!

Playboy Pilot hits the mark for a fun and entertaining romance with its adventurous characters, jet-setting romance, and fantastic writing.
The characters in this novel are likable, and you will enjoy their development not only as individuals but also as a couple. Carter, the male protagonist, is the typical pilot man-whore with a penchant for The Beatles. Devilishly handsome, quick with his wit, and living a life of adventure, Carter becomes the epitome of every woman’s dreams. Like most heroes though, there is a reason for all the sleeping around he does, so the reader is able to over-look his previous promiscuous behavior, and he becomes even more endearing with each encounter with one of his previous conquests. One of his attributes that makes him so loveable is he is kindness, and he is nice for no reason other than to be amiable. He also doesn’t falter once he commits, which is refreshing to see a man-whore hero not fall back into old patterns. His counterpart, Kendall is dealing with her own issues and looking to escape into the air when she chooses to take a chance. This chance changes her, making her see the true importance in life. There are times, one time in particular, that the reader will want to strangle her. The reader will want her to fight, to stay, to do something, anything to change it all, but even though she doesn’t the motivation behind her actions fits with her character development. Her actions at the end of the novel will have the reader forgiving any of the frustrations he or she may have felt, and the reader will end enjoying her as a character.
The best part of this whole story is the chemistry between the two characters. I enjoyed the joking, the pushing for adventure, the songs, just everything. With each moment, the authors developed these two as a couple, so even though they fall fast, their relationship reads as authentic to the reader. And, in traditional Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward fashion, the sex in this book is hot, hot, hot.
The plot development and pacing of this book are spot on. The flow of the story allowed the characters to connect and to grow and develop as people and a couple, ultimately resulting in a climax that will hurt your heart because the authors have made the reader so invested in them as a couple. Additionally, the use of outside conflict by the authors is well done and leaves everything that the reader loves about the characters intact. This story will have you laughing, swooning, hurting, rejoicing, ultimtately leaving you with satisfying journey.
Playboy Pilot succeeds in being another fun and entertaining romance in this series of standalones, guaranteed to make the reader fall in love with romance in some of the most expected places.

Carter and Kendall were an interesting pair. Hello I want their jet setting lifestyle! Carter had so much more depth then anyone gave him credit for. I liked how Ward/Keeland slowly peeled back the layers on him.
