Egh stopped at 30% reminded me a little bit of Nov 9. I just didn't really want to read about another playboy pilot and I thought this was story was going to be different. It just didn't have the stuck up suit vibe

I just love everything about each Penelope Ward book I've read. You can add this one to that list! So many feels in this story. Kind of in a "how much do I love you? Let me count the ways" kind of feels. Cause I could ruin it for you by listing out everything. Only, I won't. You have to read it to find the feels yourself.

Meh- definitely not one of my favorites, although I loved the senior community
Kendall is running from her life, her fate, her family. As she sits in the airport debating where to run, a man at the bar suggests Rio. On whim, she goes. The man, it seems, was the pilot and when they reconnect after landing, they spend a few days together. Neither wants anything more than a few days of company but they both get hooked.
Carter is every bit the playboy jet setter that you’d imagine and it was comical how many of his one night stands they bumped into. I loved the conflict and that it wasn’t such an easy fix.

This could be my favourite among the three in the series. Despite the playboy reputation, something about Captain Carter Clynes captivated me and sealed my vote as my favourite hero in the series. This man has a golden heart. His selflessness, grounded, simplicity towards life, patience and love for Kendall Sharpe is truly admirable. Not to forget that he's handsome, charming, smart and witty too.
Kendall engages herself in endless travels while finalizing the biggest decision of her life. Never had she expected that the hot and sexy pilot would take her on thrilling, risky adventures and fall in love.
Everything happened so fast for these two and I truly felt their chemistry and connection to each other. Their transparency and trust in each other bring their love to a higher altitude. I can't help but get addicted to these two. Until that shocking revelation forced Kendall to leave everything behind, including Carter. That was a painful moment in the book.
Finding each other again after months of separation, their love for each other remains. Thanks to Maria Rosa's words of wisdom, they finally made it back to each other with a heartwarming ending.

J'ai bien aimé! ! Même si c'est allée bieeeen trop vite 😅😅 ceux qui l'ont lu me comprendront je ne veux pas spoiler !! J'adore P.Ward et V.Keeland et elles ont fait en sorte que je m'attache aux personnages! ! J'ai adoré le fait que Carter parle portugais 😄😄😄 c'était une lecture simple et légère !! Ca se lit très rapidement 😊😊

Nachdem mich "One More Promise" ein bisschen enttäuscht hat, bin ich umso positiver von "One More Kiss" überrascht worden. Gerade der Schreibstil hat mich wirklich begeistern können - die Wortwahl, die ich im letzten Band zu kritisieren hatte, hat mir wirklich gut gefallen. Von der ersten Seite an, war ich in der Geschichte von Carter und Kendall drin.
Kendall hat mir an für sich schon gut gefallen, aber ich bin durch das Buch hinweg nicht wirklich warm mit Ihr geworden. Ich konnte Ihre Handlungen nachvollziehen und habe Sie zu keinem Zeitpunkt verurteilt, aber so richtig begeistert war ich einfach nicht - ich tue mich mit den weiblichen Gegenparts in dieser Reihe irgendwie schwer. Ja, Kendall war definitiv an manchen Stellen naiv, aber manchmal ist es auch nicht falsch naiv zu sein - gerade Ihre Situation/ Ihr Fall zeigt, dass es nicht immer eine schlimme Eigenschaft sein muss. Ich fand Ihre Entwicklung im Laufe des Buches wirklich schön mitzuverfolgen.
Carter hat mir auf der anderen Seite mehr als gut gefallen. Nach außen hin war er der Bad Boy schlechthin, aber sein Charakter und auch seine Handlungen sprachen eine ganz andere Sprache. Ich habe mich nicht nur einmal über seinen Tiefgang gewundert und bin mehr als begeistert von Ihm und gerade auch seinen Handlungen. Alleine, wenn ich an Ihn denke, dann muss ich seufzen - er ist wirklich ein unheimlich toller Protagonist. Auch er hat in dem Buch eine wirklich tolle Entwicklung durchgemacht.
Die Liebesgeschichte der beiden hat mich wirklich berühren können - sie war schön und hat mich einfach gut unterhalten. Sie hatte irgendwie alles, was eine schöne und romantische Liebesgeschichte braucht und auch ein bisschen Drama - aber definitiv das richtige Maß.
Ein Charakter aus "One More Chance" hat mich wirklich zum Schmunzeln bringen können und ich muss wirklich mal den ersten Band lesen.
Die Handlung an sich hat mir wirklich gut gefallen, für mich war es auf jeden Fall etwas für Zwischendurch. Die Geschichte geht von Anfang an die vollen und reißt einen mit sich - durch das Reisen der beiden, habe ich unheimlich Lust auf das Fliegen bekommen. Ich habe mit Carter und Kendall gelacht, gehofft, geliebt und gelitten.
Das Ende hat mir wirklich gut gefallen und die letzten Seiten hatten es definitiv nochmal in sich. 50 Seiten vor Ende ist mehr als viel passiert und ich war unheimlich berührt und auch gefesselt! Wenn ich ehrlich bin, dann hätte ich auch noch mehr von den beiden gelesen, aber das Ende ist schön, so wie es ist.
Fazit
Das Buch bekommt 4 von 5 Sterne von mir.
Carter und Kendall haben mir wirklich sehr sehr gut gefallen und ich hoffe, dass ich "One More Time" auch in den nächsten Wochen werde lesen können. Die Geschichte ist auf jeden Fall etwas für Zwischendurch und ich kann Euch das Buch ruhigen Gewissens empfehlen.

I loved everything about this book. What a fantastic listen! Kendle and Carter are the cutest! Banter, spice, a reformed playboy and a socialite trying to find herself. Seriously binged this in a day. I loved every minute. Highly recommended.
