Cried like a little baby (okay maybe not that much but still) and now  I miss my dad.

Really harrowing story of what the separation between borders can do to a family.

This should be required class reading to graduate high school.

Breathtaking.

DID NOT FINISH

I had started this book for a book club, but wasn’t able to finish it in time for the meeting. Didn’t enjoy it enough to continue reading it after the book club meeting 🤷‍♀️

A quick, heart-wrenching, but also lovely read about how immigration and borders make it so difficult for families to exist with one another. The switch in character POV threw me off and I think would have worked better if it was introduced earlier.
