I was a good girl, but sometimes, especially when I thought about him, all I wanted to be was bad.

This is a hotttt forbidden romance to conclude the Nashville Neighborhood series! I enjoyed the mutual attraction & pining between Preston & Sydney, even when they hadn't seen each other in over a year. I wasn't super into the major conflict of the book, but it does make sense for the plot especially with Sydney's family life throughout the book. While this wasn't my favorite book of the series, I still thoroughly enjoyed it as I have with every other Nikki Sloane book I've read. It was nice to see Preston finally get his HEA after the traumaaaa from The Doctor (book one). I also thought it was fun to see all the cameos of previous couples from the series so many times in The Good Girl!

This series was great, but this was my least favorite.

Preston has been a bit of a douche throughout the series, so it was hard to shift my opinion of him. You can tell that he has obviously grown and matured, BUT he is still living with his dad and going behind his best friend’s back to “date” his sister, so…

Let’s be honest: the whole relationship of Preston and Sydney revolves around the bedroom. I don’t feel like much of a deep connection was established here. This makes it even harder to buy into Preston’s newfound maturity, for me. I wanted to like them, but there just wasn’t a whole lot there.

At least, in the end, the conclusion was Preston moving into a one bedroom apartment and moving on to the next stage of life. I would have been very hard pressed to buy anything beyond that.

I did enjoy how the book came full circle and we got to see the earlier couples progressing in their relationships. This series, as a whole, was really fun and enjoyable.

Nikki Sloane’s writing style is sensational and I will definitely read more of her books.

I didn’t feel the chemistry between Preston and Sydney unfortunately. Also not into the inexperienced, virgin heroine storyline right now, I kind of realized this as I was reading or maybe I didn’t enjoy the author’s take on it.

I’ve read Nikki Sloane’s other works—The Frat Boy was fire and different, probably the best one in the series for me.

I really enjoyed this book, it was brothers best friend. I love how everyone was connected in this series. Every book was fast paced, kept my attention, and the smut was great! 😍

This is almost a DNF. It got boring in the middle part and I'm more than fine with him calling her "good girl" in bed but he's calling her that like a nickname and it just got cringe-y.
