so, it was long but was worth it!!!!!
It was amazing how every character had their own quirks and how they all were developed throughout the whole series!
I was given this book as an ARC, and I loved it!
It had everything from grown up, beautiful love to hard decisions, to true dark thoughts when going through this thing we call life.
It is a series but I read it as a stand-alone and I didn’t need to read the full series to understand them all.
I do have to say, that I didn’t need it. I understood the whole dynamics of the family and more!
I enjoyed this book so much, from the openness of their sexuality to the hard talks about feelings and such.
I would definitely would recommend this book or someone who is looking a grown ass relationship, with a grown ass man who can man handled you and you cuuuch onto the next year!
Im usually drawn to toxic and unavailable men, but this man did things to my heart that made me reconsider my beliefs in men (lol, kidding kinda). I swear than Lin was the most amazing, understanding and handsome man in all the land!

The Belle and the Beard by Kate Canterbary was so good I forced myself to read super slow so I could really drag out the enjoyment. This is a Walsh series adjacent book. While there are no Walshes in this book there is Magnolia and Ash. Prepare yourself for a growly, funny, sweet, and sexy good time.
Linden is the growly introvert who gets all he knows tossed around when he thinks Jasper is breaking into the house next door. She's just had her life completely tossed around and is just looking for a place to find herself and make a new plan. These two have the best banter while she is annoying him just by being in a different house next door. He wants to fix her but she's used to being the fixer and resists all his help.
Kate Canterbary writes hilarious and fun, sweet and hot romances that will make you laugh and cry. I love that all of her characters can be traced and tracked throughout her books.

This was exactly the book I needed. Jasper is such a badass strong woman, and Linden is exactly the partner she deserves. His unwavering support and belief in her abilities is so refreshing. And the casual queerness??? So well written. As a Bi woman in a heteronormative marriage, Its so beautiful to see characters who see that representation!

I loved seeing jasper and linden go from hated neighbours to tentative friends to intense lovers with undeniable set-my-kindle-on-fire chemistry. their not-so-subtle banter that built up the tension and those STEAMY AF scenes? Pls!

The Belle and the Beard is a great romantic comedy. Linden is a big lumberjack with a heart of gold. Jasper is run from her past and trying to figure out her future. When they meet you can see the chemistry between them. The more we learn about each other the more they fall for each other. I love Linden family. I love watching their journey to their Hea.
The characters in the Belle and the Beard are wonderful. Kate Canterbary does fantastic with the storyline but I did think the story was long but I still liked it. I would not only recommend this book but read another book by Kate Canterbary.

This is such a sweet book. Linden and Asher are a great couple who have to work hard to get their HEA, but they make it happen. The supporting characters are also fantastic. Minor quibble because it’s a pet peeve - y’all is a contraction for you all - you don’t say y’all to one person (or cat as the case may be). Read B it - you’ll enjoy it for sure!

I wanted to like this book. I wanted to like the hero. I wanted so much out of it. Instead I got annoying sibling-like banter and he was not protective, he was condescending and controlling. Every red flag I had was flying. I consider it a form of self-care at about 80% to just close the book and pretend she goes off and leaves him and lives happily ever after.
