This was so refreshingly different. I’m so happy i chose to start this one, because the plot was unusual in all of the best ways. From the cover, the unique storyline, to the main characters I really enjoyed this book.

I had no clue what to expect from this book and was enthralled from the beginning. I liked how the story switched from past to present to provide the backstory for the twins. I was fascinated by how the cult aspect played out and how that was woven into Kat's memory loss and what caused it. While I loved the very end, I felt like there were some rushed bits in the finale that could have been expanded. Overall, I would recommend this book and enjoyed reading it!
Kat and Jude are mirror twins. Kat and Jude are in a car accident and Kat loses all memory except knowing that Jude is her twin.
As Kat struggles to regain her memory she feels that Jude doesn’t want Kat to regain her memory. The more Kat discovers the more questions she has. Is Jude answering her questions truthfully?
I found this story to drag in not a good way. The characters seemed very one dimensional. I really wanted to like it based on the plot and the cover art (I’m a sucker for cover art) but I just couldn’t connect with the story.
Thanks to net galley for my digital ARC in exchange for my honest review.

With dual timelines, unreliable narrators, and a main character suffering memory loss, it's not surprising that parts of this book were confusing and difficult to follow. I did enjoy how everything came together.

It was entertaining enough for me to finish, but it lacked any real surprise. The plot twists and turns were pretty cliche for stories involving twins, I saw it coming from the start of fishy stuff... it was just kind of meh.
