A quick look at '#Starstruck' by Sariah Wilson
-Zoe Miller is a normal college student who happens to follow A-lister Chase Covington movie star extraordinaire on Twitter. And she likes Jeopardy! And she was raised in a Amish home. So, you know, she’s your normal kinda girl.
-She tweets Chase and he responds. This starts a chain reaction of encounters that lead them to becoming friends and then more than friends.
-But as Zoe gets wrapped up in Chase’s life, she makes decisions that could ruin everything and almost does.
My Take on the Book :
Movie star meets normal girl. Very Funny. She’s injured someone with a bowling ball, slammed the door in his face, and called him out on Twitter. Everything I've come to love about Sariah Wilson's books.

Let's Talk About the Girl...
Zoe Miller has liked Chase Covington for years. It’s hard not to like a handsome movie star. But she had no idea that a simple three word tweet would change her life and put her on his radar.

“You’ve done better.”

Simple, Honest, no emojis. No big deal. Until Chase replies. Then her boring life as a college student is shaken up and she doesn’t know how to feel about it all. When she gets to meet Chase and be an extra on his movie, she still doesn’t know what to feel about all of this. And when he offers her a PA job after she injuries his actual personal assistant with a bowling ball, she really doesn’t know what to feel about anything anymore.

Let's Talk About the Guy...
Chase is a movie star with obvious trust issues. And an addictive personality. He struggles to have a real life and keep doing to work that he loves. When he reads Zoe’s tweet he knows he’s found someone who it’s going to tell him what he wants to hear or over use emojis.

He gets a little obsessed with her profile and life. He can’t help but want to talk to her, get to know her better, and make her bake him cookies. (She bragged about her cookies on Twitter and he’s thought of little else since).

Let's Talk about the Story...
This is one of those classic Sariah Wilson books, that don’t rely on steamy scenes to develop affection or love. But this story does have some interesting bedroom moments. When he makes his assistant go out and buy her the ugliest pajamas in existence complete with ruffles and bows…and he still finds her irresistible, well you know it’s going to be funny.

The story is nice with a steady pace. Dates and interactions between the two of them help you get the full picture of each of their personalities. Chase really does try hard to sweep Zoe off her feet. Zoe lets her goals and insecurities almost ruin their relationship, but both of them are betrayed in the end. How they deal with the fall out wasn’t what I expected, which I liked.

EEP so good

This was a fantastic book I really enjoyed going on Chase and Zoe's journey with them. It was funny and goodhearted. This is a true clean romance book that I will be reading over and over. It showed love happening one day at a time. Sariah is a wonderful author and I will be looking forward to reading more books by her. I'm glad I found this book. I would love to read more of these characters please.

I received an eARC of this book via I am a Reader. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of this review.

Love, love, love this book!! #Starstruck by Sariah Wilson is the first book in a new contemporary romance series called #Lovestruck and the first of this author I’ve read. Don’t worry, I’ll be correcting that very soon 😀 This book had it all: drama, swoony moments, sweet (and some steamy) kisses, and the best book boyfriend ever!

An innocent tweet turns Zoe Miller’s life upside down. An extreme introvert, Zoe is happy to be the wallflower. Nearing the end of college, she is working hard to attain her dream of working for a local nonprofit. Then the tweet happens. She answers her childhood’s crushes tweet with “You’ve done better,” this is in reference to his new movie. However she never expects a reply. The reply throws her for a loop and puts her on cloud nine. Yet the introverted Zoe has zero self-confidence. I love Zoe. She is me if I hadn’t been married at her age. I like her determination and how she hasn’t quite let go of her childhood fantasy and how she fangirls. It’s kind of perfect!

And Chase, the super star Zoe fangirls over, is a perfectly flawed character who I fell in love with. He is very down to earth, and Zoe realizes fairly quickly how lonely he must be as a movie star. When Chase isn’t filming, he is pretty much sequestered in his home. Why? Because he can’t go anywhere in public without being mobbed. It’s heartbreaking and it puts a lot of stress on him. I loved how well he handles it all though, how he falls for Zoe, and how kind he is, not just to her but everyone he comes in contact with.

I thought this was a really cute, fun romance. Seriously I had a dopey grin on my face through most of the book. I couldn’t help it. It was just so sweet and swoonworthy. Zoe and Chase’s relationship builds naturally and slowly. They take the time to get to know one another, but the chemistry is instant and off the charts. The obstacles they encounter along the way are true to form, even if a bit predictable.

Overall I loved #Starstruck! Have I said that too much? I devoured the book, finishing it in one night and not regretting one bit the 4am bedtime in doing so. While this isn’t a squeaky clean read (there are some innuendos, talk of sex, but no language), it is a fantastic read. I’d highly recommend this one to anyone that enjoys contemporary romance.

I rarely give books 5 stars, but when it’s neglect-your-child-worthy, making you squeal like a giddy school girl, laugh out loud, race through pages faster than your eyes can read, get sweaty palmed, and literally hold your breath - it means it’s totally 5 star worthy! Loved this book! Sariah’s humor and wit along with meaningful connections never disappoint. A must read for all those romance lovers. 😍😍😍😍

I liked this much more than i ever dreamed I would (I mean, theres a hashtag in the title), but it was super cute. Zoe was an awkward nut that i adored and Chase was such a good guy, it was easy to cheer for them.

If you find romance between a celebrity and a normal person to be a little hard to believe, this book wouldn't be for you. That's a leap I can take.

I like Sariah Wilson's books. They're about love, not lust. This is one of her earlier ones (from a few years ago), and although there's plenty of discussion about abstinence, it's couched in terms of empowerment. It's not from religious viewpoint or prudishness, and I appreciate that. It's also not arbitrary to the plot.

This was a satisfying book that easily kept me reading to the end.

FTC DISCLAIMER: I RECEIVED AN E-ARC FROM THE PUBLISHER THROUGH NET GALLEY. I VOLUNTARILY OFFER MY HONEST REVIEW OF THE BOOK, THOUGH IT IS NOT EXPECTED OF ME! RECEIPT OF THIS BOOK IN THIS MANNER DOES NOT AFFECT MY OPINION OF THE BOOK OR THE CONTENT OF MY REVIEW!

I've read several of this author's works before, and I find I enjoy them more when she's doing more contemporary works, rather than historical. I was excited to read something new from this author, and this SO didn't disappoint!

I loved the banter between Zoe and Chase! Their relationship was very well done, and I loved the fact that Chase actually had to work to woo Zoe a bit! I loved how Zoe stuck to her morals, even when tempted to walk away from them! I especially loved Chase's inventive way of helping Zoe stick to her morals! I even loved the reference to the other series of the author's that I had enjoyed, The Monterran Royals!

This was a clean romance, but I didn't mind it. It was such a feel good read! I'm eagerly awaiting the next book in the series!
