Intellectual discussions from the beginning? I was hooked

I also related to Reese regarding her grief. She had me tearing up on my walk through the park

Reece almost had me scared in the beginning when she was using Greyson as a placeholder but she turned it around and got with Jason

the people who rated this book read something diff to me
medium-paced

Just like all of the other books that I've read by this author Getting Schooled was a quick, and fun read. This one starts off pretty rocky between the MC's, but very quickly is resolved. The banter was flirty and fun, and I really liked not only the MC's, but the friends and family as well. While there was so much I did like about this one, and I did appreciate that it was a quick audio I will say that I wish it was longer. I liked what we saw of Jason and Reese, but I would have loved more, and I feel like it ended pretty quickly. I would have loved an epilogue. I will say that since reading this one I have finished the second in the series and Reese and Jason are in it quite a bit so that was nice to see.

Reese and Jason

⭐⭐⭐ I liked this book
⭐⭐ Meh...bored or annoyed
⭐ WTF did I just read?!

This book had been on my wish list then on my Kindle Unlimited list for a while. I finally decided not just to read it but to purchase it and I’m so glad that I did. This book held me and kept me engaged. I loved the interaction between Reese and Jason and was rooting for them from the first word. I can’t wait for the other books in this series to come out. I will be getting those as well.

4.5 stars

i like romances where the messy one is also competent and doesn't have to become un-messy. this was well narrated and the characters were full and complex. it also kept me guessing about what the third act issue would be (do i love what they chose? no. but! i do love that i didn't know from page 30 what it would be).

christina c jones does dialogue really well.
