This was a cute, quick read. I loved the banter between the two MC. I liked the inclusion of disabled insight with the MMC being an amputee. As I was telling a friend about this book, I noticed I didn’t have much to say in regards to a twist or an “AHA!” moment. Nothing crazy happened. However, I enjoyed it.

It took me awhile to get into this book. I was listening to the audiobook and some of the language was different for me. I enjoyed the story. I especially enjoyed that the hero is not entirely perfect. Having a prosthetic gives him different vulnerabilities than other men. I enjoyed the intellectual nature of their initial attraction and I especially enjoyed how they stood up for one another. I will say that I was taken aback by some of the language, but only because of a word I'm not used to hearing in my day-to-day life. Overall, I really enjoyed this book!

I absolutely love this book. After a string of just-okay romcoms with meh characters and relationships that don't jump off the page, this was a fantastic and invigorating choice.
