In my opinion, this sequel to an epic novel is even better than the original. Mrs. Ripley captures the true essence of scarlett's character, and does an amazing job of tying all characters, and many new characters, seamlessly with the story line. Mrs. Ripley takes you through the maturing of Scarlett. She changes from a spoiled and selfless child to a loving and wise adult. This is a truly amazing story worth reading.

The sequel is actually pretty good - an entertaining read, just not as good as the original. :-)

This book may be widely hated, but I enjoyed it. Perhaps I haven't studied GWTW enough to know it as well as many, so I didn't care how closely this book stuck with the original personalities of the characters. It was just a good read.

I loved this book! I know a lot of people weren’t happy with it but I thought it was a great way to end Scarlett’s story. It’s a wonderful story about growth and love with characters we all love and became so invested in with Margaret Mitchell.

Don’t get me wrong I love GWTW but it’s a story none the less and this is a great book in itself.

It was a romance. Anyone expecting the sweeping epic of Gone With The Wind will be sadly mistaken.
