Amazing read

Wow, this book was so great. I am so loving this series, there has been lots of talk about how dark it became but I didn't find it that dark. The story got tense and twisty and a bit weird in places but it all fitted together so well! I loved it, can't wait for the last one.

This took me forever to get through, the others I got through quickly but it felt like it was so much longer than it needed to be with a lot of repetition.

Too much torture in the beginning. Separation.. Still disturbing yet funny at times. Hadriel saved the day ..and the book.

A Kingdom of Ruin by K.F. Breene is the third book in the Deliciously Dark Fairytales series. The story follows the main character Finley, who is on a mission to destroy Dolion and save those she loves. However, to achieve her goal, she must make a deal with the Demon King and trade herself for her friends' safety.

The plot is fast-paced and intense, with Finley facing numerous challenges and betrayals along the way. The world-building is well done, and the author creates a vivid and dangerous world that adds to the overall atmosphere of the story.

The characters are well-developed, and Finley is a strong and determined protagonist who is willing to do whatever it takes to save her loved ones. The supporting characters are also well-written, and their relationships with Finley are complex and intriguing.

The writing is excellent, with engaging dialogue and descriptions that bring the story to life. The tension is high throughout the book, with unexpected twists and turns that keep the reader on edge.

So Emotional!

Finley is imprisoned by the Demon King and being tortured almost daily. Without information she can't find a way to escape but she gets help from some people she didn't want there and from others that she didn't expect. Some emotional times in this book. You hold your breath, cry, laugh, and hope things work out. I have to say that I love Hadrieil and Leela. They make me laugh so hard. I can not wait for the next book. That ending was just wow!
