Okay, maybe I took too long between books 2 and 3 to read them but this wasn't as great. I still loved the book and the series, but maybe this is too complicated. I'll probably still read book 4 but I'm not totally sure if I should.

I realized this series is all about embracing the absurd. Everything and everyone is utterly absurd, which, after suspending much disbelief, has become delightful.

K.F. Breene has outdone herself with this book. This series just keeps getting better and better. The spice is still delicious and the plot is really coming together. I love all the characters and roles they all play throughout the series. This isn't the last book in the series but it doesn't end with a cliffhanger, just a delightful hook that will make you beg for the final book coming out in a few months.

Man I love this series. Finley is such a badass and her caring nature makes so many want to follow her. I'm amazed the author was able to maintain the spice even without Finley and Nyfain near each other lol the ending has me on my toes but luckily I have the last book so onto Queen of Ruin!!!

Honestly, this book was way better than the first two. It was a lot quicker paced, I enjoyed the new characters and plot development!
