Is it strange to like the side male character more than the male love interest? I'm only here for Hydrial at this point because he makes me laugh.

The author should consider a Hydrial spin off series something like "The Mediocre adventures of the Castle Butler" or " My Castle Got Cursed and All I Got was This Used Sex Toy". #TeamHydrial

This is an incredibly bingeable series and I’m enjoying flying through it. This is the classic “the mates are separated and one of them is tortured a lot” book in a fantasy romance book that all characters seem to have to go through. Have no fear though…there still is plenty of (sometimes weird) romance between the characters.

how else are you supposed to survive torture than by feeling the pleasure your mate sends down your bond from spanking the monkey?

In spite of the cringe, this book delves a bit more into the world of the story and introduces more dragon shifter lore that is interesting. It probably isn’t my favorite in the series, but sets up a lot of plot for the conclusion to the series!

Monday release Monday complete

Couldn't put it down. It is 11:51pm and I'm fairly certain I worked today - a little, between chapters. So much happened and it was all fantastic. This will definitely warrant another read through as I powered through the first one. Amazing. That cliffhanger though, might destroy me. I'm fine im totally fine.

I generally struggle with the main characters being seperated for so long but I still loved this book. It still held my attention and was dark but not so dark I couldn't stand it. The whole series is so well done.
