Like mostly filler. I was only in it for Hadriel and Leala.
The curse parameters are still not clear despite actions breaking it occuring. Also sometimes I have no clue who is talking.
Book 4 has some heavy lifting to do.
I still really like the concept just the execution is lacking.

This book was filled with a roller coaster of emotions and action. So much happened with Finley sacrificing herself for her family, for Nyfain, for her kingdom to finding out a secret that no one thought was possible. This series has been a phenomenal journey of courage, love, loss, and friendship. I can't wait for the conclusion to find out where this adventure ends up.
The best book of the series!!!! This one had the least amount of sex but had the most action and lust.

I also didn't realize how much I loved and would miss Lela and Hadriel from this book.
Not much has changed from my original review but I will update it a bit!
Finley is a really well written character and I absolutely loved her! Nyfain was very whiney and self deprecating and I can only take so much of him...I almost wished Finley would have tried things out with the other Alpha dragon, for curiosity sake...

The enemies to lovers trope works here and their love blossoms very sweetly. There is chemistry and there is very fun sex! It is not as kinky as I would have liked and I truly feel like they could have gotten away with being much dirtier but it worked and it was definitely hot!

“No, he didn’t know what ruin looked like. And he didn’t know how to rise from the ashes. I’d make sure he never did. Because I would be the bitch that burned down his whole world.”
If you need me I will be in the corner wondering why I put myself through this…. I genuinely do not know how book three has managed to be the BEST in the series but I am blown away, and once again I don’t appreciate the ending

⭐️⭐️⭐️
Safety gang:
- No cheating
- No OW/OM drama
- Violence
- Torture
- D*ath
- Cliffhanger
This one just didn’t do it for me.
The book is mainly about Finley and the dungeon for over half the book and no reunion until 10 percent left.
I know we needed her to gather forces to conquer and win against the demon king but it could of been half the book.
The last 15% was the best part of this whole thing. The fight, the reunion, the end reveal.

I need the 4th book ! Like I need to know what happens! I am left on the edge of my seat. Hands down one of the best series I have read and I cant wait to read more.
“It sounds like you’ve had a hard life,”… “I’m still alive. It’s worth the struggle to save those I love.”
So here we are the climax of the show…or so we think. Dolion the Demon King now has Finley and that jerk face Jedrek (I said it, tell me I’m wrong…I’m waiting) are headed to his shit show of a castle. Finley knows it’s for the best in order to help her Mate and their kingdom but In all honesty this is Jedreks fault but I don’t think I have to tell you this! My two favorite couples are now separated because of a jealous idiot.
“You are my heart, little dragon. Guard yourself well, because in so doing, you guard the most precious part of me.”
In this third installment we see how a true mated bond reacts when your loved one is far away from you and there is nothing for you to do as you feel their pain and suffering. The book is mostly in the POV Finley but we of course haven our most favorite mediocre butler who brings in some much needed humor, in overly dark world. I will warn you though this one is blunt, dirty, and emotional, but it’s good. As you read through pages you want more and though some topics could be taboo the writing doesn’t make you feel that way.

| dark fairytale | beauty and the beast retelling | romantasy | shifters | dragon shifter | magic | strong FMC | forbidden love | star crossed lovers | fated mates | alpha | SPICY | cliff-hanger |
So things really pick up in this book. The plot thickens and things that were once unknown become more clear and defined. Our FMC is in a but of a predicament but she stands to gain so much from the experience.
There are still secrets revealed and trials to overcome but you finally get some outside perspective. We see the MMC’s perspective as well as two side characters who have had some very large personalities throughout the series.
I think book 2 has been my favorite so far, but I was nonetheless addicted to the excitement, adventure, and spice of book 3. I am highly anticipating the finish of this series with book 4.
This book ends on a cliff-hanger, like a crazy surprise that was not expected. I can tell things are about to get more complicated, intriguing, and in general bat sh*t crazy. The main problem/conflict has yet to be resolved, but it seems within reach.
I cannot wait to see what our strong-willed, capable, and brave heroine/FMC, Finley, is going to do next. I have become completely invested in this series, and the more I read the more I truly admire the author. This series has grown so much since book 1 in writing, in plot, and in conflict/resolution.
This book has everything I want: Romance, Fantasy, SPICE, and above all PLOT.
It really took some time so see where this was going, but it has been fully worth the read and I can’t wait to finish this series and read more from this author.

Honestly, I can’t believe I got through this book. Saving graces were the multiple POVs, the grand escape scheme, and some fun character development.
I think someone said that the first 200 pages could be scrapped—I agree. It is a slog for the first half of this book… once Hadriel finally gets into the demon king’s dungeons, the whole thing improves.

This was so unbelievably enjoyable! It’s a strange synthesis of epic fantasy, complete with detailed world building and magical lore, and sheer ridiculousness and profanity. I absolutely could not get enough of it!
