This was so unbelievably enjoyable! It’s a strange synthesis of epic fantasy, complete with detailed world building and magical lore, and sheer ridiculousness and profanity. I absolutely could not get enough of it!

Oh thank the goddess! The STORY! Finally, the story came through and shined brighter than the intense intimacy. A few times my heart dropped or laughed out loud from the continuous humor in the dialogue. Bringing back most of the excellent characters, in addition to some new ones, really brought about a great dynamic for the plot. This time from multiple POV. My favorite! It drove through so much information, that it begs for some backstory. Which is, I believe, exactly what we will get!! Another book? This isn’t the end right? It can’t be.

I this one is my favorite of the three I’ve read so far. It feels like the first book was just a fluke because now two of the books have been a lot more of what I expected a romance to be. There are still some characters that are too crass for my taste, but overall the plot is much more complete and I’m curious what will happen next. It’s also gone away from following Beauty and the Beast too closely, so I feel like Breene has hit her stride. Characters are still one note and predictable, but again, it’s a romance!!

In this book, Finely works hard to escape the demon kings dungeon. Nyfain, Hadriel, and Laela work to lift the curse in the kingdom while helping Finely through the bond. Finely finally shifts into her dragon and escapes the dungeon, returning to Nyfain. The most shocking thing was Nyfain’s mother returning to the castle after being dead for years. I can’t wait to read the last book in this series to find out what happens to Nyfain and Finely.

I read this on Kindle Unlimited.
This is the third book in the Deliciously Dark Fairytales series.
Wow. This book was quite the rollercoaster. It read differently than the previous two for obvious reasons but I loved it just as much. I am starting the last book today!

Yet another great installment of this series! Yet another time I’ll recommend this series with my whole chest!

I really enjoyed the expanded character list and even further development of Finley’s character. I’ve said it before and I’ll keep saying it…she’s a mf’n BADASS B*TCH. Period. But fortunately, so is Hadriel, Hannon, and Leala. I’m so glad we finally got to experience all the animals, especially Finley

I really like this series. Great story line, but just WAY too much smut.

Separating Finley and Nyfain was the right thing to do for this book because it gave the reader back the tension and intrigue that the last book had been missing. I actually got to learn more about the world building and the plot moved forward in a way that I think will lead to an interesting culmination in book 4. It’s definitely the best book in the series so far, and I have so many questions I’m ready to have answered. What is Hannon? What choice will Hadriel make? I need to know, and I will push through the inevitable barrage of sex scenes sure to come in book 4 now that Finley and Nyfain are together.
