Stealing me away from another Gibson Boy...

I’ve been a hardcore Walker fan since reading his story. This story between Hadley and Machlan has me on the fence with my devotion because it was that damn good. Their relationship is the epitome of second chance. The love, the loss, ups and downs, sacrifices and triumphs make this story the most relatable and endearing tale. I love their love and passion for one another. It’s a tough situation to be in when you want something so much only to understand at that point it bad for you. Making your way back to what made you happy in the first place and knowing you’ve grown makes for a great romance. So happy to have finally gotten into Machlan’s head.

Can’t wait for Peck’s journey and hopefully the demise of Molly McCarter. I’m campaigning with my girl TB on this lol.

Congrats on your release Adriana! I know it is slated to do big things, but I wish you success on it nonetheless.

This story is confusing me. It seems the MMC is staying away from the FMC because
he thinks she deserves better, but he asks his brother how he knew he wanted to give up screwing other women for his fiance. Does he think he's not good enough or is he afraid to give up his freedom to have sex with others?

Having now finished this book, the MMC wasn't afraid to give up his freedom, but the way this story unfolds doesn't give me warm and fuzzies. All I will say is that the FMC is wrong and the MMC is absolutely correct at the end.
He thinks they wasted a lot of time by not being together. She thinks it was needed so they could be successful as a couple and happy. Nope. He's right. They were a waste. I'm giving this three stars because I enjoyed the interaction with the other Gibson's and Cross, but the main romance didn't do it for me.

Oh those Gibson boys! Second chance love stories are my jam, and Crave is just that, filled with Locke's trademark humor and angst. Although it's part of a fabulous series, and would read just find as a standalone, I do think you'll rush to read the others after meeting the family. Fan favorites Nana and cousin Peck are of course there, the former holding the family together with weekly dinners and fried chicken, and the latter for comic relief (and oh is there comedy!). I was blown away by Machlan and Hadley's story- when a certain event from their past was revealed, I gasped because I absolutely didn't see it coming. Both a sweet and a heart-wrenching story, Crave is a must-read! And it gets us one step closer to Peck's book!

**3.5 stars**
This story was great in many ways (PECK, some of the conversations between the guys, special appearance from certain characters...). The romance part, independently on how much I loved the connection between both protagonists, was not my favorite.
Overall, I really REALLY enjoyed some of the dynamics and will anxiously wait for Peck’s book.
