Crave is the third book in The Gibson Boys series. Ya'll, these brothers. I can't even with them! When I first started this story I didn't have a favorite and that's very unlike me. Now that I've met Walker, Lance and now Machlan, I still don't have a favorite! (Cross too!) I love them all for such different reasons. Walker is tough and mouthy. Lance is smooth and sexy. Machlan is broody and tortured. I have a soft spot for the tortured soul and Mach just needs a really big Kara hug! Machlan and Hadley have a long history. Not only is she his first love, she's also his best friend's sister, so this one got me right in the feels with the second chance romance and the best friend's sister! At first you think it's love hate, but there's zero hate. It's all foreplay. Sizzling chemistry, wounded hearts. Lust, love, promises. Machlan has always loved Hadley. They were happy years ago, but he never thought he was good enough for her and he let her walk away. Now she's back to prove to herself that she can be over Machlan. But seeing him isn't helping the way she thought. His protectiveness and jerkiness isn't a turn off at all and what does that say about her? Machlan can't stay away from her. He knows he should, but he always knows when she's close to him and he can't deny himself anymore. One kiss lights their lives on fire again, but can it last? Will this finally be their time? Can they get over their shared past and hurt and make the leap? This story! I cried for them. I laughed with them. I swooned with Hadley and I smirked with Machlan. There's so much more to Machlan than I thought. I loved watching him realize his worth and finally making a decision. Of course, I loved seeing the Gibson brothers again along with a few surprise visitors. The Gibsons give each other such a hard time, but they love each other! I love the way they interact and I just have to say I love the way they curse even when Nana smack them. I loved seeing the girls again and see what's going on with them. Overall, it was like visiting with old friends. I laughed, cried, got hot and bothered and smiled. A lot. I can't wait to see what Peck gets up to next!

"Unless you want to be almost-kissed again, stop it."
"I hate you."
"Yeah, Sure looks like it."

"How can you be such a jerk and then almost sweet in the same minute?"
"It's what happens when you're the fourth sibling. You get whatever genes are left. My bag of DNA didn't include enough of either, I guess."

"You gonna stare all night or what?
"Maybe I'm not here."
"I see you in the window, genius."

If God asked me to design a woman for myself, I'd just point at Hadley and say, "Yeah, you already did."

"Okay. She busted my balls. Better?"

"I'm with Nana. You needed Jesus today."

Crave is book 3 in The Gibson Boys series. This book is told from dual points of view by Hadley Jacobs and Machlan Gibson.

Hadley and Machlan were friends and then eventually started seeing each other when they were younger. Something happened that tore them apart.

Now years later Machlan owns a bar, and Hadley is back in town before she starts her new job. They both still have feelings for each other, but not sure if they can get over what happened in the past.

I loved the banter between both Machlan and Hadley. We learn what happened in the past and how both Machlan and Hadley handled it. When Machlan and Hadley start hanging out again, their feelings for each other get stronger again.

What happens when Hadley has to go back to her new job? Will Machlan and Hadley be able to get over what happened in the past? Will Machlan and Hadley get their happy ever after?

I loved this book and can't wait to see what happens in Peck's book!

"Sometimes life isn't about what makes you feel good. Sometimes it's about what makes you able to live with yourself."

SO GOOD. Now I cannot wait for Peck's book. (Just saying I'm almost positive the love interest won't be Molly, but if it is I will throw a bitch fit.)

These books! They are so good. I love a good family series where we get an update on the others too. We even had a Landry sighting also! This book broke my heart. The history they have, and the insight into both their personalities. I loved that Nana got through to Mach. Mach going after Hadley, and not leaving til he made her see. ❤️

I love a good brothers best friend/second chance romance and Adriana Locke absolutely nailed it with Machlan and Hadley. They have been in love with each other for years and yet, they push each other’s buttons to the point of pure frustration. Hadley desperately needs to move on with her life and Machlan needs to let her go for good. But it’s just not that easy when your heart and soul has found what it craves.

Machlan and Hadley’s story was one of love, forgiveness, letting go of the past and making the best of the future. With a storyline that I had never expected, their journey was one that broke my heart and yet overwhelmed me with with a love like no other. The struggles that they both faced, together and on their own, kept me captivated until the very end. With the addition of the rest of the Gibson boys and Hadley’s brother, Cross in the story, Crave became a true testament to the importance of family.

Adriana Locke poured her heart and soul into this story and you can tell. Crave takes you on the emotional rollercoaster ride of a lifetime and I loved every single moment.

I love Machlan and Hadley. I say this every time I read a new Adriana book but they might be my new favorite couple. I cried so much in this book, thank god for Peck and Lincoln, of course he made an appearance, This book is beautifully written. They way Adriana writes makes you feel like you are there and living in their world and going through their struggles and triumphs. Amazing book!

These two quotes sum up their love.

“I love you more, Hadley. Not more than you love me, but more than all our fights and disagreements. I love you more than the bad days and the bullshit we’ll have to go through in life. Because if I have to go through it, I don’t want to do it without you.”

“things like this, like what’s sitting around this table, don’t happen overnight. You can’t force them to happen. You can’t make them not happen. You just have to water them with love and give them room to breathe and enough support to anchor the roots into the foundation of something good.
