Perhaps my least favorite Lulu Moore book to date. Maybe because I listened to it vs read it. I like the baseball ones a bit more.

I kinda loved this! This was an excellent friends to lovers where the guy was just head over heels and pursued her in such a sweet, loving way, breaking down her walls. I loved both characters and it was basically exactly what I want in a hockey romance. There were definitely some editing/grammar errors that could be frustrating but I refused to let it take me out. The drama at the end just fueled my love for angst and I bought into it all.

5/5 for entertainment, swooning, smiling, giggling, and everything I love in a book especially a hockey romance! I DEVOURED this book! I don’t know why I waited so long to dip my toes in the water but I couldn’t put it down and read it in one night…

Highly highly recommend! Yes it’s unpredictable and some spelling errors but man oh man does it make you feel all the butterflies and have you smiling and kicking your legs in glee!

DNF. Absolutely not. Ok they had a meet-cute, she leaves in a huff and he can’t get her out of his mind. He then tries to go find her again and sees her on the crosswalk while he’s driving. His buddies jump out of the car and follow her until he can park. Then he sits outside the building she entered until she leaves (3 hours later). Pretty sketch so far already but I’ll allow it. Once she comes out of the building he goes to talk to her, asks if she wants to get lunch. She says no. So he asks for her number to get together another time. She again says no so they go their separate ways. Again, all fine. My problem began when his friends immediately are like well you have to find out about her so you can get her to like you. That is called stalking and harassment and is in no way romantic. As soon as they started with that mess I closed and returned the book. Not sure what happens after that, if they run into each other organically or if he manufactures more run-ins but I refuse to read something that expresses in any way that a guy should keep trying if a woman says no. No is a complete sentence and a valid response even if you don’t like it. If I could give zero stars I would.
