I loved this slow burn.

The narrators were amazing with the different accents it was absolutely gorgeous.

I completely felt in love with Jasper and Wolfie. Loved their friends too. Freddy was so funny like Jasper’s teammates.

I laughed and smiled so many times and I enjoyed it.

It was my first book by Lulu Moore but it will certainly not be the last. The same goes with both narrators. I’m repeating myself but this audiobook was beautiful and I enjoyed every second of it.

Thank you Valentine PR for sending me this ALC in exchange for an honest review.

LOVED IT! It was hard getting into at first but it was SO worth it. It also took me longer then intended to and I’m behind my schedule which sucks BUT I’ll read the whole series+ re-read the secret again before The suit comes out.
Jasper is the sweetest and kindest and the most patient guy there is. For him it was Love at first sight for her not so much

Slow burn cute hockey romance with a splash of Insta love (him) and international flavour (he’s American she’s British). The friends to lovers arc happens around the 70% mark which can feel a little drawn out, though the spice is great. The he was a playboy reformed by seeing and loving her is a bit weird but her best friend is hilarious and wonderful.

Listened on audio.
The performance was done well. Fmc had a British accent.

This was very insta love. Jasper sees Wolfie and immediately knows he has to have her. Wolfie took too long to come around to Jasper in my opinion. 4 months of gifts dates and hanging out. Then a break up at 95 %.

FYI this is a slow burn strangers to friends to lovers, he falls first... Definitely nothing like enemies to lovers.

Don't you just hate it when a book is tagged as Enemies to lovers and they're not actual enemies? Like i enjoyed the book but it's very disappointing that there wasn't any enemies to lovers stuff in the book.

That said tha book was fun, a little slow but I loved the dual POVs and Jasoer and his friends are hilarious. Wolf is fun but a bit uptight, which is totally fine. It was nice to see her gradually melt for Jasper, it was super cute.

Jowever it wasn't what i was expecting when diving into the book so now i seriously have to reconsider the other books and the tags theh have.

3.5 stars. I would hardly call this an enemies to lovers and wasn’t a big fan of this 3rd act break up. Communication is key, people..

This is a romance which is in my top 5 of this year.
Jasper falls first and so hard…
Wolfie’s struggling is so well described.
She is sassy and so funny.

He is.. well… everything you could imagine for the perfect book boyfriend.

This is a slow burn… but when it comes to it, you won’t be disappointed.
HIGHLY recommended

I listened to the audiobook version of Jasper by Lulu Moore.  This book was full of great characters, that are available to read about in her other books.  With each mention of the characters I kept thinking, I can’t wait to read about them!  The narrators, Alyssa Avery and Bradley Ford did a great job of making you feel a part of the story.  You feel like they’re your friends telling you their love story.   I was impressed with both narrators as Wolfie is British and Jasper, American, and Alyssa Avery used a pretty spot on American male accent when she had to read for Jasper and Bradley Ford used a nice British female accent when he had to read Wolfie’s dialogue.  Sometimes when a male narrator has to read female dialogue and vice versa, it can really take someone out of the story, but these two did a great job.

This book is a sloooow burn.  There were times I was like come on, Wolfie get your guy, but it was all so worth it.  There was a lot of humor and banter between Wolfie and Jasper and the chemistry was amazing.  The side characters were so fun and I do have some favorites (*cough* Drew *cough*), so if you need an amazing friend group, you’re going to want to jump into these books.    If you love a slow burn with a delicious payoff, definitely give this one a listen.

THIS WAS SO CUTE AND SWOONY.

🏒 hockey romance
🏒 Slowwww Burn (with the best payoff)
🏒 He falls first
🏒 Dual POV
🏒 multiple open-door scenes
🏒 great friend group

When Jasper and Wolfie, literally, bump into each other on the streets of NYC, it was love at first sight (for him)! Wolfie tried so hard to resist the sexy and swoony professional hockey player, but after months of friendship and him wearing her down, she finally falls and falls HARD.

These two were so stinking cute and I just loved watching these two become so close and Jasper continued to fight for Wolfie, even when she didn't believe it could all work. I will definitely be continuing on in the series and I really hope some of Jasper's hockey player friends are in it because this group of friends is just wonderful!

Rating: 4.5 stars

My first Lulu Moore book and most definitely not my last! I've been so fortunate to have found so many new authors this year, Lulu being one of them! Jasper and Wolfie's story was so sweet and definitely a slow burn! But the burn was 100% worth it!
