This is one of my favorite reads. I own it in print, ebook and audiobook versions. It’s that good. Using history, family dynamics & internal struggles, Kate brilliantly takes you along for the ride. And if you like funny kids, this story has that in spades! Be ready for an emotional rollercoaster that will leave a mark on your heart!

Cute but really not my cup of tea. I don’t usually DNF but at 15% I just realized I had read this story at least 25 other times. I held on those times because the sugary syrup can be well balanced (eg. Ella Maise, some Colleen Hoover, Mia Sheridan etc). This is not one of those, think My Killer Vacation or the Slammed trilogy. If those were your jam, pun absolutely intended, then go for it but beware.
