DNF - the plot started with so much promise but I’ve really never been so annoyed by a main character. I made it 80% through and reached a paragraph and literally said “nope” and closed the book.

as a former ski racer i have spent the past two years searching for a book that would fill the void in my life that ski racing has left. this book did not disappoint. the setting and them both being racers who fell in love when they were juniors who grew up skiing together automatically gave this book 5 stars. i loved it thank you julia for giving this book to me

It was a cute second Chance romance. But it was also an extreme slowburn. I wish their relationship went just a tad faster (even though I love slowburn).

so many angsty twists and turns

3.5 stars for this second chance romance!

I wasn’t sure how I felt about this story, but I will say the twists and turns kept my interest the entire time!!

The author weaved so many surprise moments throughout the story.

I am interested to see if the series is able to wrap up some of the questions I still have on certain characters!

This was my first book by Julia, and it will not be my last! I enjoyed this book and loved learning about skiing. The second chance, forbidden romance we see was

this was,,,,,okay. you know i love me a good second chance romance but this wasn’t that great. the miscommunication drove me up the wall i hated it so much, everything could have been resolved if they just TALKED TO EACH OTHER. nate is still hot tho so bonus points for that. also, the loose ends were not tied up. either i just straight up ignored it (my mistake) or it just wasn’t resolved but we don’t even know who took the pics, how jackson‘s mom is doing etc. it was just a bit,,,,wack
