This was a fun read. I liked the second chance trope in this one and the way everything unfolded. The miscommunication trope was a bit much for me at times, but overall a fun read
We’ll written, just not for me. I just found myself so frustrated with the main characters lack of accountability. Very “woe is me” and she never seemed to try to understand where Nate was coming from, just accepted the worst case scenario and ran away. Because she didn’t really grow or accept this until the last 30 pages of the book, it was really slow moving. Close to a DNF after dying through the first 50%, I could barely make it through the rest of the book

This book really took me by surprise. It was so angsty and funny and moving and well done and SUCH A SLOW BURN OH MY GOD. I love second chance romances. I also love a man who is an absolute sucker for his partner. I love it. Can’t wait to dive into Sierra’s book!
