A helpful memoir and insights as I embark on a likely transracial adoption from foster care. Some was predictable and seemed like basic humanity but knowing the history of racist coercive history of the foster and adoption systems it’s helpful to have it in print for those less informed. Thanks for sharing your story in the hopes of improving others’ experiences.
