Why is this book so boring. Starts out fine and then just forgets how to be interesting. 

Good concept but poor execution.

It's okay. I like the trope, finding a young dragon and training it. The setting and style played well into the story as well. The problem I had was the inordinate amount of characters. Many of which I couldn't tell apart or even if they were human or not. That definitely hurt the book in my eyes, also it slowed down after the first Act, and then not much happened. Still, I enjoyed it, but wouldn't call it my favorite.
