I enjoyed this books premise.   I felt like the battle descriptions were engaging and really enjoyed the dragons being similar to cats that talk to you.

I can fully see why people believe that this is softly the series that Fourth Wing was inspired from. These dragons are fantastic and Temeraire is just the absolute best of the best. I like that the main focus is the relationship between aviator and dragon and there’s just a slight sprinkling of romance blossoming!  I will absolutely be continuing the series!
