It was all just so over explained. There was nothing that gave me a reason to care. And as soon as I almost did, two horrible unlikable characters were added. I was 240 pages in and it didn’t seem like we got anywhere.

This book was beautifully written. It gets a little slow at times and the story is so dark and heartbreaking. But I throughly enjoyed it.

I kept waiting for something to hook me into reading this…but it was just excessively long and barely anything of interest happened.
