Maybe I could have gotten through this if I were reading a physical book. But I was listening to an audiobook, and the monotone narrator made it hard to listen/care/enjoy it at all.

Although I found the book somewhat predictable, I found the writing engaging and quite enjoyed the story.

"Where words are muted, feelings begin."

A fast page turner.
Physiological, yes. Thriller, no. Enjoyable, very!

While I found part of the ending to be predictable, the journey there was not.
I enjoyed the suspense and found myself unable to put the book down.
This is an extremely short read but I feel Yan was able to pack a punch with the emotion and suspense.
The narrative style was spot on and the writing felt smart.

Predictable and not a thriller, but enjoyable and quick.
