As the title - beautiful and dark

Dark, funny and beautifully drawn, but after the first few twists it felt predictable for the second half.

Thoughts/Questions:

+ The dead girl, she's left in the elements, unburied, not far from the man's house. Weird. I feel like if the man cared about the girl he would have dug a grave for her and placed a headstone of some sort but the way she is 'discarded' makes me think that the untold story between the girl and the man is of a nefarious sort. There are dolls at the man's house so it seems like she was being kept there, possibly against her will, and when she tried to leave he killed her?

+ This reminds me of "The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy" by Tim Burton. Humor in death and horror.

Fae antics

I thought this was so great. Some of the imagery is so haunting. I don't want to say too much about it, but the basic premise is fairly genius, and the tale it tells is fairly chilling by the end, if you're paying attention. It's very subtle.

Uhhh what just happened here? Literally what.. This is like "Gulliver's Travels" if Gulliver had been decomposing and the lilliputians lived inside his skull.. so there's that..
