Interesting, you get what you asked for: experiences the author had with his dad. Some very funny quotes, and a nice story to end the book with. I kind of expected a little bit more out of it, but it did what it promised.

A truly hiliarious and lighthearted read. I can't decide whether I'm disappointed or grateful I didn't have a father like this.

Very cut book, much more funny and interesting than the television show!

This book is absolutely hilarious and had been laughing non-stop. Enough said, book must be experienced to be appreciated. :)

"Shit My Dad Says" is a very fast and funny read. I could not put it down and found it to be just as heartwarming as it was funny.

I would probably give this 2.5 stars, but I'm rounding down instead of up because I honestly had higher expectations for this book. I found myself more mildly amused than laughing out loud, which is odd because this could have easily been about some of my family members and friends, with a few differences. Maybe my standard of humor has changed, but I actually found the book a bit boring. Maybe that's why I forgot about reading it for a few days. It had its moments, but for the most part, I just wasn't impressed with the punchlines.
