These short stories really appealed to me. While not all of them suited my taste, those that did really suited my taste. I like Mansfield's general style a lot. She prefers portraying (brief) scenes from life rather than making convoluted intellectual points.
Some of my favorite stories were The Little Governess (which kept my attention all through; poor girl) and the stories following it. I liked Bliss as well. There were no real bad ones.

Really good. To read the first story (about childhood in NZ) while overseas made me homesick. Beautifully slim and at it's best when describing joy and beauty which was nice to read. A spring and summer book.
