I enjoyed reading this and watching the group of college friends support and lift each other up through major life changes. A wonderful reminder to celebrate each day and surround yourself with good people.

Boring, dialogue made it hard to connect to any of the characters, therefore I didn't really like any of them. Book just didn't hook me, I kept zoning out.

I’m a big fan of Steven Rowley and although this wasn’t my favorite of his, it’s a solidly good book. The relationships, friendships, love, grief, are all so beautifully written. Despite the concept of a living funeral being unique, I honestly love that through the hardest of times these characters continued showing up for each other, sharing their hard truths and being so unconditionally loved even when it was difficult to accept. We don’t give our friendships nearly enough credit for the ways they carry us through life’s ups and downs.
