5 college friends make a pact after the unexpected death of the 6th member of their group right before graduation. Each has the opportunity to call all of the others together for a “living funeral” once. To leave nothing unsaid. This chronicles how the pact started and how each funeral unfolds over the course of several decades. Beautifully told.

Really enjoyed this book, felt like I couldn’t put it down! It was funny, heartbreaking, heart warming, and inspirational. Would make a really good movie!!
