Many people have a time in their life during which friendships were steeled in a way that makes them last a lifetime. For me and many others that time was the very traditional four years of college (and then two more bonus years of traditional graduate school.). I didn’t think I was particularly lucky at the time, but I have thought it every day since then.
This is the story of such a group of friends. They come together when they are needed, without a lot of contact in between. But each one knows that regardless of long periods of silence, they can be counted on, they are in each others thoughts, and they will be the support again that they once were on a daily basis.
