I enjoyed the art and that Miles and Peter seem to have a less strained relationship in this one. Seemed like the 1st thing they did was make Miles into a sleazy teen (not just distracted by girls type, like sleazy gross type), which is completely out of character for him...then kinda forgot they gave him that characteristic because it is never mentioned again. I just finished the whole ultimate series so I was pretty confused when Miles' mother was alive! I'm thinking this might be a new universe? I'm not sure what to remember about Miles and his adventures and what is changed in this volume exactly. This was good and I'll continue to read this series. ~Ashley

I’m having difficulty deciding if this is 3 stars or 4 stars so I’ll stick with 3 stars for now. I did really enjoy reading this, I love miles morales so much. But there were some issues I had/things I didn’t understand. Also his grandmother SO FUCKING DRAMATIC. Like too dramatic. I don’t understand
I am probably confused over some things because I didn’t read miles morales: the ultimate. Not really sure if that would really change anything, but it could be why I’m missing a few things.

Not sure why it has taken me this long to pick up these amazing stories of the new Spider-Man. This was great!

There were definitely some flaws in this story, but it being about Miles Morales I am inclined to still like it. I am not sure why I am such a sucker for Miles but I am!

However here is a list of what I did NOT like:
1) Ganke- like what the fuck man you are supposed to be Miles friend?
2) The name Goldballs, I mean is that a joke?
3) The super unnecessary involvement of that youtuber girl, she just annoys the crap out of me.

But things I liked:
1) Miles
2) Mrs. Marvel
3) Black Cat- I am also a sucker for anything Black Cat, sue me.
