I really enjoyed this book. The author has a wonderful way of combining believability, sympathy, and humor into a wholly satisfying read. The story shares the points of view of two women in love with the same man. One is hoping for a future with him and the other dreams of the past they once shared and is determined to have again. This is so well written that the reader will find themselves caring about both women and the ordinary guy stuck in the middle. I highly recommend this book from the author of Big Little Lies and The Husband's secret. -Candy V.
This wasn't my favorite book by Moriarty. At times, my heart broke for the characters and at other times the book seemed disjointed. It didn't draw me in like some of her other books have.

I love her writing and couldn't stop reading this, but I felt at the end like something was missing. It was all just too perfect, you know?
listened to this book on audible. In the end, a good story about different seasons for different kinds of love. Also, interesting exploration on motivations of not so great behavior. Really enjoyed from beginning to end. Also, nice tale about life in Australia! Some thought it was too long, I was sorry it was over. This is the 2nd book I have read by this author, really liked both of them. Not "great literature", but a thought provoking read.
