I was pleasantly surprised by the direction this book took towards the end and really enjoyed all the characters. While it isn't my favorite Moriarty novel, I do love her character development and her descriptions of life in Sydney.

I've had this book on my shelf for years procrastinating reading it until I had read all her other books. Now she needs to hurry up and write some more!

Good, easy read. Was fun and I loved how it showed the 2 view points throughout.

I just could not connect with any of these characters. I usually love Moriarty’s books but this one I just was not able to connect with.

Although this book was about 30 pages too long, I enjoyed it. What was interesting about the narrative is that you actually feel compassion for Saskia, the stalker ex-girlfriend. I also found myself questioning the sanity of the protagonist Ellen - who willingly dates a man with a stalker? All in all, it was a good lazy day summer read. I'll be reading Moriarty's What Alice Forgot next.

Love the author but this book isn't as good as her others.

I think this could’ve been a 5 start book if there was a bigger climax and a more exciting/shocking ending

This book took me a long time to finish cause it was extremely boring. The main characters, Ellen and Patrick, are dull — if they’re colors they will be white and look even their names sound boring. Ellen kept rambling about the same things over and over again too!

The only “colorful” thing about Patrick is the fact that he’s a walking red flag — a huge red flag. He’s selfish and cruel, and I honestly have no idea why the two women are obsessed with him.

I was very close to abandoning this book and the only reason I kept reading was because of the “villain” character Saskia. She’s the only one interesting in that book.

If this was written more of a thriller with that same story concept, it would have been better. Instead it was just plain boring with the same points repeated over and over again.

My sixth Liane Moriarty book. I wanted a little more from this, but it was an easy read with decent characters. #yvettereadthis #igreads #goodreads
