Big Little Lies was one of my favorite books last year. I keep picking up Liane Moriarty's other books hoping they'll have the same magic but I keep getting disappointed. This book was better than "What Alice Forgot" but still wouldn't call this a great book. Readable I guess.
One of the most frustrating, yet ever so lovely, books I've read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book but that's no surprise, I mean, this is Lianne Moriarty we're talking about here!
I've loved Moriarty's books, but I think this one hasn't been translated into Finnish. I found this at our library's recycling shelf and took it with me. I love reading in English anyway. This was an interesting read, the main character Ellen is a hypnotherapist, which is interesting in itself. She's met a man and they start dating. It turns out that the man has a stalker, his ex-girlfriend. The book is written from both sides, from Ellen's side and from the stalker, Saskia's, side. Things aren't always so black and white. And things really has to hit rock bottom until they start to unwind and everyone gets to live their lives. This made me want to learn how to hypnotize, it might help with insomnia and anxiety :) This was 503 pages long and I read it in 2 days while holidaying on countryside.

This was such a delightful read that when my boyfriend wanted me to drive home on a weekend road trip, I asked him to read it out loud to me while I drove. It was such a delightful read that even he enjoyed it, and this is normally not his kind of read. Thoroughly enjoyable. :)
I normally hate pregnancy plot lines + rlly did not like the relationships offered at first, but the way they evolved was really satisfying.
Too much of a love story, was hoping to have some thrilling buts with the stalker, not finding out her bf had a stalker in the first chapter
