Until the last 40 or so pages, I was convinced that Moriarty has a huge grudge against men. This is the third book of hers that I've read, after [b:Big Little Lies|19486412|Big Little Lies|Liane Moriarty|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1399582436s/19486412.jpg|27570886] and [b:The Husband's Secret|17802724|The Husband's Secret|Liane Moriarty|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1375762213s/17802724.jpg|23986788], both of which took a dim (to say the least) view of men. The the first three-quarters of Love Story really had me expecting a sinister turn of events at the hands of the male lead. Said turn didn't come.
Not sure if I was relieved or disappointed.

Not my favorite Liane Moriarty book. It was ok. It was hard for me to get over how preposterous Ellen's reactions were to Saskia.
Not my favorite of her books. It doesn't have the intrigue or suspense as some of her other novels. It is interesting in a different way, but just enough to make it an enjoyable read. A book you will probably like if you like Moriarty's books, but not one you will love.
I didn't like this book as much as I liked Moriarty's other book I have read, but it was enjoyable.
Great character development. Another author and I might have hated everyone and thought the story was dumb, but she had me caring about stuff and enjoying the crazy.
Liked, didn't love. Definitely a good Moriarty book with well drawn characters and plot.

Another one of Liane Moriarty's books in which I was not disappointed! This is my third book I have finished by this author and I enjoyed every moment of The Hypnotist's love story as much as I have the Husband's Secret and Little Big Lies. An excellent thriller that left me wanting to believe that each of Moriarty's novel's all intertwined with each other. I secretly hope that the lives of her characters somehow intertwine. I want to see Saskia befriending Cecilia, or Ellen encountering Madeline, Celeste or Jane at one of the coffee shops mentioned in the book. If you enjoy Moriarty's works, you will not be disappointed.
It was ok. I’ve read better books by this author with more twists and exciting parts. This story was a nice read but you could tell where the story was heading throughout. There weren’t many surprises but it was easy to read.
